The Joyous Thing x Outer Waves

The next stop for The Joyous Thing is Outer Waves 2026, taking place in Liverpool this May

This year we’re excited to bring The Joyous Thing to Outer Waves in Liverpool. Started last year, the second edition of the festival returns to the city for more alternative music, experimental sound and boundary crossing DJs at Invisible Wind Factory.

We will be holding another member-led event featuring opportunities for discussion and networking, including member spotlights, a group discussion, performances and openings for more casual conversation. In addition to this the festival is providing stage time for Outlands member DJ slots.

Tickets for Outer Waves are on sale now, and the lineup includes OXN, Dame Area, Lord Spikeheart, and Keeley Forsyth, who is the focus of our upcoming touring commission.

More information on Outer Waves can be found on their website.
